PART TIME ENTRY LEVEL YARDPERSON – POSITION FILLED

NJC Hire is a 100% locally owned and operated construction equipment hire business looking for an enthusiastic person wanting to get a foot in the door to our busy industry.

 

We need a motivated, reliable person to join us, initially in a part time role working Saturdays 7.30am – 2pm with the option to work during the week during School Holidays at our Kumeu branch. This role would ideally suit a student looking for part time work or a recent school leaver.

The job requires assisting our equipment team with cleaning, servicing and generally staying on top of our equipment maintenance, plus providing a high level of service helping customers when equipment is hired or returned. The successful person needs to bring an enthusiastic attitude, isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and is proactive to help out where they can.

This is a great opportunity for someone to join a great company with room to grow and move up the ranks with some hard work.

No experience is necessary as full training will be given to the successful applicant.

NJC HIRE HAS SOME EXICITING TIMES AHEAD & WE WANT YOU!

NJC Hire is a 100% locally owned and operated construction equipment hire business looking for our next rock star Equipment/Yard-person to join our tight knit family at our Kumeu branch.

The job requires assisting our equipment team with servicing, cleaning and generally staying on top of our equipment maintenance, lifting and moving of equipment in a safe manner plus having a strong customer focused approach both in person and on the phone ensuring our valued customers are well looked after.

The successful person needs to be reliable, bring an enthusiastic attitude, have a friendly customer focused approach, be proactive, hardworking and not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Experience in the industry or working with machinery would be beneficial but not a must as training will be given to the successful applicant.

We are offering a Full Time role for the right person.

Hours and wages can be negotiated depending on circumstances and experience for the right applicant. Saturday work (1/2 day) will be required as part of our roster schedule.

A clean drivers licence is required to help with occasional deliveries in our company vehicles.
